Awana Club
Wednesday Evenings 7:00 - 8:30, September - May
Kindergarten - Grade 6

Awana is a worldwide youth and children’s ministry . Awana is an acronym that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.

Children are broken into two groups, Sparks (Kindergarten - Grade 2) and T&T (Grades 3 - 6). For one half of each meeting time, children are taught a lesson and work though a handbook that helps them memorize and understand key Bible verses. During the other half of the evening there are team games and races in addition to guest speakers and music.

All Awana leaders are specially trained. For more information about ALC’s Awana ministry, please email Pastor Mike Benedeck.
